GENERAL FIRE NOTICE |2014|
A5 self-adhesive paper, postcard
21 x 14.6cm
General fire notice taken from a public building and altered by highlighting in bold the first available letter sequentially that formed the sentence: Our minds are often rotten places to live.
The new notice was then placed on the inside of every toilet cubicle door at user height in Weston-super-Mare's iconic Grand Pier, destroyed by fire on 28 July 2008, before reopening two years later.
