EVERY EYE SEES ITS OWN SHADE OF BLACK |2012|
Carousel slide projector, slides, smart phone, stand
A slide projector projects what at first appears to be a series of slides, before the images begin to move.
Going over a personal mistake or disappointment with an enmity bordering on a perverse desire to take yourself to task was the impetus behind this project. The film is short, as is often the moment you've come to regret, going quickly but lasting in the mind.
This project wasn't intended to be about sport or public perception, but internal evaluation, the scrutiny we turn upon ourselves in everyday life and situations under the constant glare of others.
